Mary & Robbie

Mary and Robbie’s story holds a special place in my heart, not only because they’re dear friends of mine from college, but because their painting was one of the first steps in my journey as a live wedding artist. When I was just starting out, I reached out to them and asked if I could practice using a photo from their wedding. They graciously sent over several images and gave me full creative freedom to choose.

I selected a close-up moment of embrace- tender, genuine, and full of love. Even though this painting was created early in my career, it remains one of my favorites to this day. When I finally shared it with them, their reaction was pure joy and emotion, a reminder of why I do what I do. Their trust and support gave me the confidence to keep going, and I’ll always be grateful for that.
